Eugene, Norm, and their father embarked on their first development project in 1986, learning the ropes as they went. (They hardly knew the difference between a front loader and a backhoe!)

In the 1990s, The Jenesis Group expanded into general contracting after an architect invited them to bid on a project. Greenergy NY is the company’s energy consulting division dedicated to sustainability and efficiency. Its founding was inspired by Norm’s daughter’s simple yet powerful question: “How are you building greener homes?”.
Jenesis Construction is a general contracting business that undertakes various custom projects, ranging from high-end residential projects to light commercial work. They employ a stable list of established tradesmen and suppliers, several of whom have been part of the firm’s team since its inception. The Jen brothers collaborate and carefully build from the plans of architects and designers, emphasizing quality and integrity in everything they do.
